Welcome to Holloway Playgroup!

We aim to provide quality play and learning experiences for children aged 2-5 years of age. 

We believe in creating a fun, attractive environment where children can explore and learn about the world around them within a safe, friendly and caring community.  Staff are professionally trained in childcare and early years and have many years' experience.  They are a dedicated team who recognise the value of individuality and plan activities which allow children to explore and take control of their own learning, supporting children to become positive, confident learners.

Holloway Playgroup is registered with Derbyshire Social Services under the Children Act 1989 and is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and also the Derbyshire Early Years and Childcare Partnership.  We are Ofsted registered (Registration Number 206793).  Our latest inspection report is available below, or you can contact us for a paper copy.

Playgroup is run as a not-for-profit organisation by a voluntary committee of parents, guardians and community members.  Our current Chair is Mrs Karen Maycock who is also the Executive Headteacher of Framework Federation.  We work closely with the federation sharing information, training, policies and ideas!
