Reading & Phonics at Framework Federation:

Reading is at the centre of all learning at Framework Federation.  We recognise that without a good level of reading ability a pupil is unlikely to make the progress they need to recognise their full potential.

At the start of the school year each class has an excellent understanding of the progress a pupil has made in their previous class and detailed plans and activities which help the pupils to progress during the next year.

The sharing of books and stories is a central feature of all classes regardless of age group.  This helps to instill a lifelong love of books and reading.
