Welcome to Reading Review, our termly newsletter where we will meet authors and share great texts!
Reading is at the centre of all learning at Wessington Primary School. We recognise that without a good level of reading ability a pupil is unlikely to make the progress they need to recognise their full potential.
At the start of the school year each class has an excellent understanding of the progress a pupil has made in their previous class and detailed plans and activities which help the pupils to progress during the next year.
The sharing of books and stories is a central feature of all classes regardless of age group. This helps to instill a lifelong love of books and reading.
