Lea Green Activity Day

Anther great day at Lea Green. We built skills, confidence, and resilience.

Bikeability

We had bikeability training to improve our riding skills and our road traffic awareness. This involved training on the muggapitch and supervised riding on the roads near school.

Sportshall Athletics Champs!

The Sportshall Athletic Team won the cluster school event at Highfields in January. They won the large school and overall title. Wessington won the small school title. Both teams progress to the district final.

New Year Sporting Success!

A great start to the sporting year! Our indoor athletics team and our basketball team are crowned champions of the large schools at the cluster tournaments.

Indoor Athletics

Some of our Year 2s competed in the KS1 Sportshall Athletics Competition. They have been training hard and were challenged on their skills in following areas: balance, control and stability, leaping and landing, co-ordination and rhythm, single-arm throwing, speed, hand-eye co-ordination, foot-eye co-ordination, spatial awareness, two-arm throwing and agility. They had lots of fun, as you can see!
