Government Funding
Reminder for parents that the applications are now open to apply for early years funding for 2-year olds from April 2024 - see below. If you are eligible and would like to use your funding at Holloway Playgroup you will need to complete an FE1 funding form and return this to us before the start of the funding date (e.g. 31st March 2024).
We are registered as a provider of free pre-school education for 3 and 4 years olds.
When your child reaches the age of 3 they will be eligible for government funded childcare in the term following their third birthday.
| Summer Term (April) | Born between 1st January and 31st March |
| Autumn Term (September) | Born between 1st April and 31st August |
| Spring Term (January) | Born between 1st September and 31st December |
All children aged 3 and over are entitled to 15 hours Universal funding and some children are eligible for an additional 15 hours of funding known as Extended Entitlement funding. Parents need to apply online for the additional Extended Entitlement Funding and this needs to be reconfirmed every 3 months - see link below for further information.
If you would like to use your Universal and/or Extended Entitlement funding at Holloway Playgroup, you must complete a FE1 Funding form and return this to us before the end of the term prior to the start of the funding - a copy of the form can be found below.
